How Does Auto Glass Chip Repair Work?
We start by drilling into the auto glass, if needed, to gain access to the damaged part of the glass.
Next, we clean the area and prepare our tool for the correct suction to pull air out of the damaged spot.
We, then, utilize a tool that pumps and sucks the air out of the chip while a UV curing resin fills the air’s place.
After all the air is out of the chip, we use UV light to will help the resin to harden.
Once the resin is cured, we use a flat blade to remove any excess resin and make sure the chip is completely filled.
